Located in the old town of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Yan Tuck has been selling Chinese medicine for almost 80 years.
We took on this rebranding exercise, designed a new logo and created a new brand identity for this traditional Chinese medicine shop.
The logo design is inspired by the shop’s antique plaque from 1942.
We also recreated and modernised the monogram design based on the motifs on the current packaging. And made it redder and more vibrant.
Linen white, the brand’s primary colour, suggests a sense of tradition, yet oozes modern elegance.
We have kept the brand’s traditional value yet gave it a modern twist it to stay relevant.
Maroon red, a traditional Chinese colour, is used to evoke passion, love, ambition, courage, strength.
We have given an old brand new life, to serve today’s consumers even better.
